While we just recently moved from Europe to California we are still working on our all new designed and English spoken website.
In between we would like to introduce ourselves and our services on this single page – hoping to create enough interest for you to contact us by phone or e-mail or at least leave a positive first impression with you.
Who we are
Gorgasser Non Pro Assistance LLC consists of the married couple Arno Gorgasser and Jeanine (Nina) Burkart.
Arno is a native Austrian and a professional horse trainer. Growing up with his family breeding Haflingers he was into horses from day one and got into Western Horses as a teenager. Until recently Arno successfully ran his training operation in Germany.
Being specialized in Reiners and Cowhorses he and his Non Pros have carried home many victories and European Champion Titles. While Arno has some roots in Texas and California he is still known by his peers from earlier times.
Jeanine (Nina) is from Bavaria, Germany and a non pro rider and competitor, riding horses – preferably the wild and fast ones - as early as she could walk. Having a university diploma degree in Brewing Sciences and a background in Business Administration, IT and project management she used to work in a key position for a major company.
Nina now runs the operational background for Arno and offers a lot of useful services for (and not only) the horse world to the public.
Esi – is a Thailand Ridgeback Dog (TRD) and our dearest companion and almost our badge. Since these dogs are very rare and we are being asked about her a lot we wanted to provide a link about her breed. We brought her with us from Europe along with our three favorite horses.
Leaving behind a safe life with a waiting list for horse training, a bunch of non pros and a super reputation we took high risks to start out all new on the other side of the world. But we are energetic people that are good at what they do so we know we will get there again soon.
We now need you to let us show what we can and get that positive word out for us!
Where we are
Both of us have always dreamed of permanently living and riding under the wide horizons of California.
In March 2011 - after receiving business Visas for the USA - we finally bundled up our gear to permanently move to our own little ranch in Clements, California.
We now proudly call 30 lush acres and a beautiful house on
East Acampo Road our own.
In these next months we are in the process to set up a training facility that enables us to train horses on world class level.
We recently received a use permit to build a show barn with indoor and outdoor arenas. We will keep you posted as building plans come along.

Arno´s expertise
Training
Arno is a very experienced and versatile trainer. He chose this profession because he loves horses and training one is not work for him but fun.
Arno can take a horse from zero to hero and that in a fairly short amount of time. And that is not because he is hard on an animal – he just knows what he is doing and does it frequently and himself.
Coming from good old Europe he has very conservative ethics:
- No "miles and more"-programs, no drugs, no tricks, no abuse – just patience, real work and a training program that is based on knowledge, feel and horsemanship
- Arno is honest, reliable and accurate
- Declared goal are solid trained horses that can be shown for a long time and stay sound and motivated. They will do it because they know how and theylove their job.
Since we are not all set up at this moment we can – at our premises - take horses for basic training or starting only. If you have the facilities to do more and are in the area Arno could come out to your place to train.

Lessons/Coaching
Arno is specialized in non-pro assistance – which means he professionally helps a non professional rider any way he can. This means he will make a team out of you and your horse. It does not matter if you are training for a high $ aged event or if you are in your grassroots. He will find that little problem that makes the huge difference in a heartbeat and you will advance so much faster.
Once you are ready to go show Arno helps you from picking the right classes until you are leaving that show arena. An afterwards Video analysis will help you step up until the next show!
Finding a suitable horse
Arno has a great eye for horses and good matches. Once he knows your riding he can find the best horse that fits your needs and checkbook.
Our left-behind clients in Europe have full trust in him – we are currently looking for all kinds of horses for European customers and have already bought a 4yo One Time Pepto mare for a new happy owner in Germany

We can organize your horses paperwork, full trip and conduct the (usually) 30 day quarantine on our premises.
Media Services
The world is going online and gas prices rise. Your client wants to know exactly what he gets from you before he makes the effort to go out there. Safe both of you time and money by having as much information prepared and handy as possible. Jeanine can help you with most any project you want to be doing.
- Websites/Internet – not yet on the web?! Nina can create a website for you to fit any budget, get you started in facebook, list your company in google maps or online resources, place your horse ad online…. Hundreds of options! It does not matter if you are in the horse-business or in any other endeavor. If you are interested in anything internet contact me anytime and we will checkout all directions.
- Videography – have you seen any sale horse videos? Now there are some out there that help you get your horses looking good and others that don’t. To be successful you need to know horses, know the techniques and have some creativity and good taste. We can create you that nice video to promote your horse, your facilities or whatever you desire – and then put it online, on your website or on DVD´s. You can supply the material or I videotape.
- Photography – nice pictures are a must have for your website or ad. I am very good at presenting your horse the best possible way on conformation shots and head pictures. Service can include washing, clipping, (all the fu-fu-ing up) providing a nice show halter or that fancy headstall and gear. You provide a trimmed, well fed horse and a patient horse handler.
- Logos, Business cards, Flyers, Letterheads, Ad´s – if your stuff does not look professional no one believes you are!
